  • Worked with a team of software engineers and linguistic scientists from Textwise on a project for email manipulation for wireless devices (Java).
  • Developer in the transition of the external web site for Garlock Sealing Technologies, from English to a Multilanguage site (IIS, JRun, SiteServer, SQL Server, ASP).
  • Worked on the implementation of an Emotive Index knowledge source for the Talavara Messaging Framework product (Java, C++).
  • Content Developer for MAPIT (A commercial system for searching and analyzing millions of patents, internet access) and Dr-Link (A natural-language information mining system, internet access)
  • Contributed to the analysis of data from content providers (patents in SGML, publication feeds in HTML, and other formats).
  • Developed applications to transform source data into the company’s proprietary tagging system, and to update the new information into the respective content repository (Perl5, DB2, SGML flat files, proprietary database format).
  • Updated and maintained tables in the MAPIT database (DB2) product in the absence of a DB administrator.
